Meet jacob Ayers
I'm Jacob Ayres, podiatrist at Boost Health Collective.
I became a podiatrist in order to have a positive impact on other people! I have a passion for health and fitness with an extensive sporting background and have experienced shin splints and other foot and ankle injuries in the past.
Staying active in lockdown

What is your best tip for staying active in lockdown?
Making the most everyday of walking or running if you can - now that the weather is looking better getting out and getting some sun on a walk can boost your mood! The key to walking and running and wanting to increase this is to increase it slowly but surely.
What have you been doing to keep active?
I've been running a lot, currently training for my own half marathon. I've been learning French, playing the piano, cooking more and watching the footy!
When not in lockdown what do you do to keep active?
Lucky in lockdown I've still been able to run but when we aren't in lockdown anymore I'll be able to go surfing again!
Professional Speciality?
Heel pain and plantar fasciitis, achilles tendinopathy and running biomechanics. Also love ingrown toenail procedures!
Jacob's Favourite Shoes

Brooks Adrenaline GTS 20
GTS stands for Go-To-Shoe and with good reason! They're a podiatrist and Active Feet team favourite.
