The GT 2000 8 is a medial posted, moderate supportive shoe. Unlike most supportive shoes, it's lightweight design is quite a positive feature. In conjunction the gel cushioning Asics offer at the heel still aids with the cushioning and this translates to the forefoot, especially under the ball of the feet.

The GT-2000 8 is one of the best updates they've done on this model over the last few years, the upper has been resigned and feels and fits just right, as well as looks like a top end running shoe. Cushioning is improved with a full length Flytefoam midsole so running longer distances is as easy as ever.
